With Coronation street parties planned UK-wide, we worked with one.network’s data team to tally up the total number of expected road closures. The data showed a total of 3,087 planned parties, with closures stretching 263 miles (the equivalent of Westminster Abbey to Land’s End). We tapped into the media appetite in the run-up to Coronation weekend, placing an exclusive news story with PA Media. The exclusive gave the story a big following wind, eventually receiving blanket national media coverage across over 200 news outlets, creating 1.8 billion opportunities to see.
